Lawrence Vickers began his NFL career in Cleveland, spending five seasons with the Browns. With the AFC divisional playoff with Baltimore in sight, the Texans fullback fondly recalled his twice-a-year clashes in the AFC North with Sunday's foe.
He relished the competition, which gave him the opportunity to prove himself against the best -- which is how Vickers predicts he'll always remember the Ravens when his professional career is over.
"I feel like they're good because of how they play together," he said. "They're all on the same chord, all have the same goal, and all try to attack that goal. And at the same time, they don't mind being physical with it and letting you know, 'This is who we are.'
To Vickers, there is no richer compliment.
