The other safety on this team is Woodson, whose natural position was cornerback. The Ravens decided to move Woodson to the back end to lengthen his career, a gamble that paid off in a big way. Woodson was the on-field general for the secondary, grooming young cornerbacks in McAlister and Starks as well as taking Lewis under his wing. While Woodson used unbelievable speed to excel at cornerback, he proved his football intelligence by making the switch to safety seem too easy.
