Carr entered the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000007" title="National Football League" href="/topic/sports/football/national-football-league-ORSPT000007.topic">NFL</a> as an undrafted free agent out of Boise State. He received a $5,000 signing bonus from the Raiders in 2005. "It's always kept me hungry," he said. "I'm very thankful of the road that I took."
