The Ravens' best cornerback has unquestionably been McAlister. He had the size, speed and playmaking ability to shut down wide receivers and scare quarterbacks. There were flashes of greatness, from returning an interception 98 yards for a touchdown in the 2000 regular-season finale to running back a missed field goal 107 yards for a score. But there were periods of embarrassment, like the suspension in 2003 for missing a meeting in San Diego and his ungraceful final season in 2008. McAlister, though, was a great cornerback for the Ravens. The sad part is he could have been better.
