As the Ravens hope to help their wild-card chances with a win over Minnesota on Sunday, we reflect to an earlier time in team history when the path to the playoffs went through the Vikings. On Jan. 7, 2002, the Ravens beat the Vikings, 19-3, in the final game of the season to clinch a wild-card berth. It was the first Monday night home game in Ravens history, which had been rescheduled from Sept. 17 because of the 9/11 attacks. The win brought the Ravens to 10-6 and booked them a return trip to the playoffs the year after their first Super Bowl title. Check out some of the images from that memorable night in Baltimore as the Ravens hope for a similar boost Sunday against the other guys in purple.
