Mike Preston's final report card for 2011 season
|
QUARTERBACK: B
There wasn't much improvement in Joe Flacco from a year ago, but he was more accurate in the second half of the season compared to the first because the Ravens ran the ball more. Flacco had a lot of passes dropped, but he still has to improve his pocket awareness and ball security. He was solid in one playoff game, and very good in the other. He completed 312 of 542 passes for 3,610 yards and 20 touchdowns.

• Special Teams - Grade should be a "D." Liitle more need be said about Cundiff except to say that had his last kick been one of his only muffs of the year, we could forgive (maybe not forget). But he lost the Ravens at least two season games as well as the chamiosnhip (along with Evans).
• Defensive Line: Only a "C+" from you? For a line that is rated in the top three in the league, I'm thinking at least a "B+" if not an "A." They kept us in most games when we should have been blown aways with touchdowns (instead they kept to no or just 3 points).
Your thoughts?
As critical as Mike Preston is to the Ravens, you would think The Ravens were 7-9 and no playoffs. I wonder what his grade would be to a team like NY Giants who lost 7 games but are in the Superbowl.
Mike you are too critical for a reporter who has never played professional sports. We should spend more time critiquing your faulty journalism techniques that sell papers.

Who really cares- it's all fixed anyway by the NFL and the mob, way too much money involved to leave things to fate. Believe what you want, everything is above board and everyone is honest....right.
