This group started out well, especially Pro Bowl tackle Haloti Ngata, who recorded five sacks. Early in the season, the Ravens did a good job of getting a rush up front with Ngata and ends Cory Redding and Pernell McPhee, but they got pushed around late in the season and through the playoffs. Second-year tackle Terrence Cody basically disappeared, and Redding seemed to lose steam in the second half of games. While Ngata struggled with a leg injury, the Ravens couldn¿t keep blockers off middle linebacker Ray Lewis.
