( Gene Sweeney Jr., Baltimore Sun / August 17, 2012 ) The Ravens have a lot of quality depth at cornerback, and the special teams prowess of Gorrer and Jackson give those two an edge over second-year cornerback Chykie Brown. Injuries to Emanuel Cook (season-ending broken leg) and Considine (concussion) have opened the door for Thompson and maybe Omar Brown (above), but Brown may only survive roster cuts if Considine isn't going to be available to play in the season opener on Sept. 10. |
