49ers QB Colin Kaepernick vs Ravens S Ed Reed

Kaepernick is a threat as a passer and runner, and he gives the 49ers the strong arm that they lacked a year ago with Alex Smith. He will take some shots down field and completed 136 of 218 passes for 1,814 yards and 10 touchdowns in the final seven games he started during the regular season. Reed's name hasn't been mentioned much during the playoffs, and that's because he has played with discipline and few quarterbacks go after Reed when they can locate him on the field. Reed, though, can bluff young quarterbacks like Kaepernick. He might be able to get a pick or two Sunday night. |
