Wrestler B.J. Whitmer was injured during a match against Mike Bennett at a Ring of Honor event in Toronto on Saturday night.
Whitmer was injured after taking a pile driver on the ring apron. The match was immediately stopped as he began receiving medical attention.
Whitmer was moving his arms and legs and gave a thumbs-up to the crowd as he was being taken away on a stretcher to a local hospital. He will remain there likely until Monday for precautionary tests. Many roster members visited him in hospital after the show.
