The World's Strongest Man will be with WWE for another 3 years.
Henry revealed his contract extension on the Jay Mohr podcast. The agreement will keep the former world heavyweight champion in the promotion until 2016, marking his 20th year with WWE.
Henry noted he received a raise, but he did not disclose the amount.
Henry was an Olympian with the U.S. powerlifting team in 1992 and 1996, and he first appeared in WWE in March 1996. Along with the world heavyweight title, he is also a former ECW and European champion.
On the same podcast, Henry talked about preferring to perform as a villain instead of a hero, and he also spoke on the topic of African-American champions in the history of pro wrestling.
