On those recent warm days, was there anyone in Baltimore who didn't think ahead to an afternoon in the infield at Pimlico?
We're just 60 days from the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes.
Over at the Sun's Preakness page, you can catch up on all the pertinent news surrounding this year's event. No, we still haven't found Kegasus. (Eh, who am I kidding: we haven't really been looking for him either.)

The business of Maryland horse racing may still be struggling but, on the turf, there's reason to hope. Union Rags, trained by the Fair Hill-based Michael Matz -- who trained Barbaro -- is widely considered the favorite after his win at the Fountain of Youth. And another Fair Hill trainer, Graham Motion, appears to have a chance to follow up last year's win -- by Animal Kingdom -- with Howe Great (yes, that's a hockey reference.)
The Kentucky Oaks will be worth watching, too. Sagamore Farms -- owned by Under Armour founder Kevin Plank -- has a much-talked-about possible entrant in Millionreasonswhy. The Filly won the Wide Country Stakes at Laurel earlier this month, and has won three of her four races.
