Kentucky Derby winner I’ll Have Another took an unconventional approach to the second leg of the Triple Crown by arriving at Pimlico just two days after his win at Churchill Downs. Seeking his fourth win in as many races this year, the colt continues doing well with less than a week until the 137th running of the Preakness.

I’ll Have Another galloped more than six furlongs on the muddy track Monday morning and also walked about an hour outside.

“He’ll do that every day,” trainer Doug O’Neill said. “He had a good little leg stretch and a good cool down. He seems ready to go.”

Pimlico was quiet Monday as light rain fell for much of the morning. Race officials continue hearing from possible entrants for the race and will draw the field Wednesday afternoon.
