Petoskey graduate Grant Tracy scored five points, dished out two assists and grabbed two rebounds in helping the Grand Rapids Community College men’s basketball team to an 84-57 win over Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
Tracy, a guard, had seven points and had two assists in a 97-82 win over Lake Michigan College.
Grand Rapids is 7-5 overall, 3-0 in league.
— Petoskey grad Kerby Tamm had eight points, four rebounds and two assists for the Central Michigan women’s basketball team during an 86-67 Mid-America Conference win over Northern Illinois.
Tamm, a freshman guard, has played in all 16 of the Chippewas’ games, starting one. She is averaging 11.1 minutes, 3.5 points, and 1.3 rebounds per game. CMU is 9-7 overall, 1-1 MAC.
— Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestler Kegan Arthur, a 2010 Petoskey grad, dropped a 12-1 decision in the 157-pound weight class during the Division III National Wrestling Duals. Whitewater, ranked 18th in Division III, finished sixth in the tournament.
Arthur is 8-5 including three pins for the season.
— Sophomore forward Joe Keedy scored eight points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists in 26 minutes for the Swarthmore (Pa.) College men’s basketball team during an 87-59 non-conference loss to Arcadia (Pa.).
Keedy, a Petoskey grad, is averaging 4.7 points and 3.2 rebounds. He has played in all 12 games, starting three, and is 18-for-21 from the free throw line for a team-best 85.7 percent. Swarthmore is 1-11.
— Senior guard Dustin Dibble had three points and four rebounds in 26 minutes for Missouri-Kansas City during a 76-57 Summit League loss to South Dakota.
Dibble, a Petoskey grad, has played in all of the Kangaroos’ 18 games, starting five. He has scored 95 points and grabbed 50 rebounds. He has connected on 40 percent (14-of-35) of his 3-point attempts.
UMKC is 7-11 overall, 1-5 Summit.
