Saturday, June 1: The Maryland Trout Unlimited's Spring Picnic and Fishing Fair will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Bunker Hill Area of Gunpowder State Park. Bring a covered dish. There will be workshops, including casting instruction, vendors, gear swap and more. Hot dogs, sodas and bluegrass music will be provided by MDTU. The family-oriented event is open to nonmembers.

June 29: Capt. Luke Thatcher will lead a session focused on fishing aboard the Miss Chesapeake as part of the Maryland Saltwater Sportfishing Association's youth fishing seminar series.
