WNAV to broadcast Baysox games again

The Bowie Baysox and 1430 WNAV will continue their partnership for a third season in 2016. The Baysox, the Class AA Eastern League affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, will have a full-season radio presence in Annapolis and surrounding areas with WNAV, which will provide a live broadcast of 40 games while streaming all 142 games online at www.1430wnav.com.

To access the Baysox webcasts, listeners simply visit www.1430wnav.com and click on the Baysox in the right hand column. Baysox Director of Broadcasting Adam Pohl will provide play-by-play for most of the team's 142 games during the season and will be joined by Dan Laing from SiriusXM Radio for select home and road games.

Additionally, the Baysox will have a weekly show "Baysox Weekly" to air Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. throughout the season on 1430 WNAV. The show will also play prior to Baysox broadcasts online.

"We are happy to carry Baysox games on the properties of WNAV for a third consecutive season," Pohl said. "There is no better community-minded station in our area than WNAV and that makes us a perfect fit in working together. We hope for another great year on and off the field."

Each game will feature a 20-minute pregame show named "Baysox On-Deck" hosted by Pohl that will feature a look back at the last Baysox game, interviews and updates on the Eastern League and Orioles organization. WNAV is on the air at 1430 AM and in the City of Annapolis at 99.9FM.
