Dodgers announcer Scully to miss 2 games because of cold

Legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully will miss two games because of a chest cold, the team announced Monday.

The 86-year-old announcer, who is in his 65th season with the Dodgers, would be out Monday and Tuesday for home games against the Cincinnati Reds.

Charley Steiner, Orel Hershiser and Nomar Garciaparra handled the call on the television broadcast Monday night. Scully calls all home and road games in California and Arizona.
