Orioles (57-59) vs. Athletics (51-65)

Where: Oakland Coliseum

First pitch: 9:05 p.m.

TV/Radio: MASN2/105.7 The Fan

Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Dylan Bundy (11-8, 4.15 ERA) vs. Athletics LHP Sean Manaea (8-6, 4.15)

What to watch

1. Upper hand. The Orioles suffered what could prove to be a damaging defeat Friday, when they blew a one-run lead in the eighth inning. Knowing they don’t have much margin for error to have a shot at catching the wild-card leaders, how will they respond tonight?

2. Bundy slides in. Dylan Bundy has allowed two earned runs in 15 innings over his past two starts, and has three quality starts over his past four games. He’s pitching better again and has a chance to help the Orioles get going against the heavily right-handed A’s.

3. Beckham watch. It’s been a few days since our last check in on Tim Beckham, who has remained scorching. He has hits in all 11 games with the Orioles, including three straight multihit efforts. That has Beckham going into tonight hitting .500/.511/.886 since joining the club.
