Jack White rocks along as 'Seven Nation Army' plays at Camden Yards

The Baltimore Sun

Although we’re used to hearing “Seven Nation Army” by the White Stripes at sporting events, it’s not often you see singer-songwriter Jack White in the stadium rocking along.

But White was at Camden Yards on Monday taking in the Orioles-Nationals game before he appears at The Anthem in Washington on Tuesday and Wednesday.

“Seven Nation Army” has become a staple in sports stadiums and is often played at M&T Bank Stadium, where the Ravens use it as a rallying cry.

White is a baseball fan. The Detroit native has thrown out the first pitch at a Tigers game and has attended other games.

He wore a “Warstic” T-shirt to Monday’s Orioles game. It’s a baseball bat company he co-owns with Ian Kinsler, according to the company’s website. Kinsler plays for the Los Angeles Angels after spending years with the Tigers, White’s hometown team.
