Age: 30 2013 Stats: 7-6, 3.46 ERA in 15 starts; 91 IP, 79H, 25BB, 67Ks Career stats: 46-50, 4.66 ERA. 219 games in nine MLB seasons Contract: $7M in 2013; Free agent at season's end Skinny: Because he has been a reliever and spot starter, Feldman has made just 30-plus starts in a season once -- in 2009 when he was 17-9 with a 4.08 ERA in 34 games (31 starts) with Texas. He pitched for the Rangers from 2005 to 2012 and has long been a Showalter favorite. Showalter and Duquette are big on team chemistry and this guy, from all accounts, would assimilate seamlessly. And he's more than just a morale boost. He has pitched well in 2013 and has postseason experience (a 3.29 ERA in nine relief appearances in 2011). The Orioles had interest in him last offseason. Connolly's take: If I had to wager which starting pitcher the Orioles land, my money is on Feldman. He's not as sexy as some others, but wouldn't cost as much and could help down the stretch.
