SARASOTA, Fla. -- It’s a busy day here at the Ed Smith Stadium Complex.

Ubaldo Jimenez arrived here this morning for his physical, and South Korean pitcher Suk-min Yoon is also here for his first workout with the Orioles.

Yoon entered the clubhouse this morning and went to catcher Matt Wieters’ locker and shook his hand. The club will hold a news conference at noon.

Yoon didn't participate in the full workout today. Instead, he did some light throwing and ran sprint drills with strength and conditioning coach Joe Hogarty. He is scheduled to throw a bullpen on Wednesday.

There are about a handful of Korean reporters here to cover Yoon's news conference.

Right-hander Miguel Gonzalez said his back feels much better, but the Orioles are still taking it slow with him. He will play catch for a second consecutive day and could return to bullpens tomorrow.

Since Gonzalez has been here for three weeks and has already thrown five bullpens, he said there’s no rush him back

Xavier Paul and Alex Gonzalez arrived at camp today, which is the official full squad report day. Most players have been here a while. The only players I haven’t seen are Rule 5 pick Michael Almanzar and Francisco Peguero.

ESPN college basketball announcer Dick Vitale is also here. He took a selfie with Orioles right-hander Kevin Gausman inside the clubhouse.
