Problem is that 2 starters (Matusz and Arrieta) have been disaasters. O's need two startes but that will be hard to acquire in a trade. Also need another big bat in lineup.
Hey, we didn't get to grade the manager or GM. Showalter gets a C- for not having a clue when to pull a pitcher. This deadly flaw has cost the O's at least 6 games this year. Duquette gets a C- for flapping his jaws about making a game changing trade and thus far it's all hot air likely coming from both ends. If he lands Garza, Dempster, Greinke, OR Cole Hamels he gets a B+ for not lying through his teeth......again. If he lands any two and a third baseman (Youkalis slipped by a sleeping management) he gets an A+ if, and only if, he gets those players extended beyond a two month rental.
