OK, I’m sure you’ll start thinking about the Orioles in roughly 10 days when pitchers and catchers report to Sarasota. Right now, you have other sporting things on your mind. I get that.
This week the bar is adorned in purple and black. I had to borrow the colored lightbulbs from a Deadhead couple I know. Hope you like the special touches in here.
We haven’t done a Prediction Friday in a while. But boy is this the perfect time to do it.
We can’t just be all football in here this weekend. Have to toss in a baseball question as well. And since one of the few mysteries surrounding the Orioles roster is the starting rotation, let’s go there.
So here’s what I want to know: What will be the outcome of Sunday’s Super Bowl? I want a winner, a score and an MVP prediction.
I also want you to give me the Orioles’ Opening Day, five-man rotation for 2013. If you’d like to add someone who is not on the team right now – say, Joe Saunders or, I don’t know, Felix Hernandez – go ahead.
Here’s what I got:
Super Bowl: Ravens 24, 49ers 13. MVP, Joe Flacco with three TDs to three different players (Pitta, Boldin, Rice).
O’s rotation: Hammel, Chen, Gonzalez, Tillman, Arrieta.
Daily Think Special: What’s your Super Bowl outcome (score and MVP)?
Bonus Think Special: Name your Orioles 5-man, Opening Day rotation.
