As of 3:10 p.m., it’s still raining at the ballpark, and the grounds crew just pulled the tarp off the infield to drain it.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for a 60 to 70 percent chance of rain at game time, with a 30 to 50 percent chance of precipitation until 10 p.m.
Winds are expected to be between 20 and 30 mph this evening, with gusts up to 35 mph. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 30s overnight.
Don’t expect the game to be called until shortly before the scheduled first pitch, if that's the route the Orioles choose to go. The teams have until roughly 6:30 p.m. to decide whether there will be a delayed start.
The New York Yankees already postponed their game that was scheduled for tonight at Yankee Stadium against the Chicago Cubs, and the Detroit Tigers have postponed their home game against the Cleveland Indians.
