Orioles' series opener against Blue Jays at Camden Yards delayed

The start of tonight’s Orioles series opener against the Toronto Blue Jays at Camden Yards has been delayed because of the threat of inclement weather.

The game is expected to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Multiple bands of showers have hit Camden Yards this afternoon and into the evening, moving pregame batting practice for both teams indoors.

Tonight marks the beginning of a six-game homestand for the Orioles. The first three games are against the Blue Jays followed by a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins. The Orioles are scheduled to play 15 of their next 18 games at home.

The Orioles already moved the start time of Saturday's game back from 4:05 p.m. to 7:35 p.m. to accommodate for the Preakness.
