Brian's Bash is on again

Shortly after Brian Roberts stepped into the batter’s box on Tuesday, I began receiving questions via email and on Twitter as to whether the annual Brian’s Bash for charity will return.

It will.

Roberts announced his annual charity function for the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital will be at Dave & Buster’s at Arundel Mills on Sunday, Aug. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Roberts canceled the event last year because he was dealing with concussion symptoms. He returned to the team Tuesday, and now Brian’s Bash is back on.

Here’s more information from Roberts’ website.
