The Orioles sent 10 batters to the plate in a seven-run third inning that has opened up Saturday afternoon's game against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

The Orioles lead the Red Sox 8-0 after an inning that was capped by third baseman Mark Reynolds' three-run homer over the Green Monster in left, his second in the last 24 hours after going homerless for 76 at bats. Center fielder Adam Jones also hit a two-run homer, a mammoth two-run blast that cleared the Green Monster and landed on Landsdowne Street.

Eight straight Baltimore batters reached base in the inning -- with one out coming when Endy Chavez was thrown out stealing third -- for the Orioles' most runs in one inning this year.

The Orioles chased Red Sox starter Aaron Cook from the game that inning. Cook allowed seven runs -- six earned -- on eight hits through 2 2/3 innings.

Cook nearly came out of the game after suffering a gash on his left upper shin, after Chris Davis slid into him on a play at the plate to score the Orioles' first in the second.
