Orioles top pitching prospect Dylan Bundy, who has been shut down since the start of the season, tested his full range of motion in his right arm and had no pain, a promising sign after he received a platelet-rich plasma injection April 29 to help alleviate forearm and elbow stiffness in his right arm.
The right-hander is still weeks away from resuming throwing — recovery time from the injection was estimated at six weeks — but seeing that Bundy no longer is having any discomfort is a good sign for the Orioles.
“I thought it was a real good thing for me to see,” Orioles manager Buck Showalter said.
