The Orioles sold out their final game of the 2013 season Sunday with an announced crowd of 44,230 at Camden Yards. That's their seventh sellout of the season.
That pushed the 81-game season total to 2,357,101, which is the highest for a year since 2005, when the Orioles drew 2.62 million. The Orioles welcomed more than two million fans to Camden Yards for the second consecutive season, the first time that has occurred since 2006-2007.
They also averaged 29,100 fans per game in 2013, most since 32,404 per game in 2005.
The 2005 season was when the Orioles led the American League East into June, but collapsed in the final two-plus months of the season, which included Rafael Palmeiro's steroid suspension.
