R.A. Dickey( Gene Sweeney Jr., Baltimore Sun / April 23, 2013 )
Dickey is off to a slow start this season, his first with theBlue Jays, but in 2012 he became the first knuckleballer to win a Cy Young Award when he went 20-6 with a 2.73 ERA for the Mets. Current Orioles manager Buck Showalter was instrumental in convincing Dickey to try the knuckleball full-time after he struggled as a traditional pitcher.
