Kevin Gausman is now Orioles' top prospect, according to MLB.com

By nature, ranking baseball prospects is a fluid process. And if you check out MLB.com's newest rankings -- published today -- you'll see quite a few changes involving the Orioles' top minor leaguers.

Dylan Bundy, long considered the Orioles' top prospect, has dropped from the preseason No. 2 prospect in all of baseball to No. 17. (He hasn't pitched this season and is out for the year after undergoing Tommy John surgery on his pitching elbow.)

Bundy has been passed in this set of rankings by Triple-A Norfolk right-hander Kevin Gausman, who now ranks No. 1 on the Orioles' list and No. 16 in all of baseball. (The 2012 first-rounder began the season at No. 37 overall.)

The only other Orioles product in the top 100 is Double-A Bowie lefty Eduardo Rodriguez, who participated in the All-Star Futures Game earlier this month. He wasn't in the top 100 at the start of the season.
