In what Orioles fans hope is the first of many All-Star appearances as a professional, top pitching prospect Dylan bundy tossed a scoreless sixth inning in Tuesday's California-Carolina League All-Star Game in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Bundy walked one and struck out two for the Carolina League All-Stars, who won 9-1. The right-hander representing the High-A Frederick Keys threw 14 of his 21 pitches for strikes.
Frederick's Ty Kelly also played a starring role, starting at third base and going 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI out of the No. 9 hole. The Keys' Jeremy Nowak came off the bench and went 0-for-1.
The Carolina League's pitchers dominated the game, allowing only five hits all game and only two through the first seven innings.
