TORONTO – First baseman Chris Davis returned to the No. 5 spot in the Orioles’ batting order for tonight's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

David Lough will start in left field, and Nelson Cruz will be the Orioles’ designated hitter.

The Blue Jays are the only American League East team left-hander Wei-Yin Chen has yet to beat, but he only has made one start against them, allowing five runs and nine hits in five innings Sept. 24, 2012.

Former Orioles outfielder Nolan Reimold will make his first start against his old team tonight as the Blue Jays' starting designated hitter. Reimold, who will bat fourth tonight, entered last night’s game as a substitute and was 0-for-1 with a walk and a strikeout.

Toronto third baseman Brett Lawrie is out of the starting lineup tonight after leaving last night’s game with back spasms. Munenori Kawasaki will make his 10th career start at third base. He was taking grounders at third base in early work today.

* Davis’ .668 slugging percentage against the Blue Jays is the highest of any player all-time with a minimum of 200 career plate appearances. Cruz is second (.610), followed by Matt Stairs (.604) and Ken Griffey Jr. (.600).

* Low-A Delmarva left-hander Luis Gonzalez was named organizational pitcher of the month after going 4-0 with a 1.65 ERA in five starts in July. Delmarva infielder Drew Dosch was the player of the month, hitting .364 (39-for-107) with a homer and 15 RBIs.
