CBS Radio's 105.7 The Fan to broadcast 12 Orioles spring training games

Twelve Orioles exhibition games to air on 105.7 The Fan this spring.

The Orioles and CBS Radio's 105.7 The Fan (WJZ-FM), the flagship station of the Orioles Radio Network, have announced that 12 spring training games will be broadcast in 2016.

The schedule begins with the home opener against the Atlanta Braves on March 2 at 1:05 p.m., and includes six additional home games in Sarasota, Fla. Three of the 12 broadcasts will feature 30-minute pregame and postgame shows.

105.7 The Fan will again broadcast all 162 Orioles regular-season games this season. Longtime Orioles broadcaster Joe Angel returns for his 17th season and will be joined by veteran broadcaster Jim Hunter for most games. Fred Manfra also returns for his 24th season and will call select games. Former Orioles pitcher Ben McDonald and MASN broadcaster and Orioles Hall of Famer Mike Bordick will also join the radio broadcast team to provide analysis for several games this season.

Additionally, MASN previously announced that it will televise seven Orioles spring training games in 2016 on March 8, 10, 16, 20, 25, 29 and 30.
