Dylan Bundy throws five strong innings in Winston-Salem

Dylan Bundy is getting more and more comfortable at High-A Frederick.

On Thursday, his sixth start for the Keys, the 19-year-old Bundy threw five strong innings against the Winston-Salem Dash, the Carolina League’s top offensive team.

Bundy allowed one run on four hits and struck out five while walking none. He lowered his ERA to 3.14 in 28 2/3 innings for Frederick. He has allowed 24 hits, eight walks and 10 earned runs while striking out 30 batters.

As a pro, between Low-A Delmarva and the Keys, Bundy has made 14 starts, allowed 29 hits, 10 walks and 10 earned runs and fanned 70 batters in 58 2/3 innings. 

His total ERA on the season actually went up .02 points to 1.53 with Thursday’s outing.
