Jeff Conine (front office)

Mr. Marlin has settled in as a Marlins executive. And his name was mentioned as a possible managerial candidate there as well. Conine could do whatever he wants. He's smart, hard-working and has a great way with people. During the lean years here, he may have been the most respected player. He was the veteran who bought the suits and the dinners for the young guys. And he's the veteran that would speak up if a young player wasn't respecting the game.
