Matt Wieters was supposed to have the day off, but the catcher was thrust into pinch-hitting duties in the eighth and delivered the game-winning two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the 10th. The Orioles had been 1-for-17 with runners in scoring position before Wieters' hit, which delivered a clutch victory after Tommy Hunter surrendered a go-ahead homer in the top of the inning. "Keep getting opportunities, that's all you can ask for," Wieters said. "Whether you succeed or not, you want that next opportunity to come to you and you want another chance."
