A look at the Orioles' season series against Texas Rangers
The Orioles play their first postseason game in 15 years Friday, but it won't be an easy matchup.
In the first ever American League wild-card game, the O's face a Texas Rangers team that beat them in 5 of 7 meetings in the regular season, outscoring them 56-24.

"THOUGHT A COLLAPSE WAS COMING"
I THINK WE’RE ALL SURPRISED,
AT WHAT THESE ORIOLES DID.
FINALLY MAKING THE PLAYOFFS,
FOR A WORLD SERIES BID.
AT THE BREAK I FIGURED,
THEY PLAYED OVER THEIR HEAD.
THOUGHT A COLLAPSE WAS COMING,
BY NOW THEY WOULD BE DEAD.
BUT, OH, WAS I SHOCKED FOLKS,
AT WHAT THIS CLUB WOULD DO.
NOW THEY’RE IN THE PLAYOFFS,
PLAYING GOOD BALL, TOO.
TEXAS IS THEIR CHALLENGE,
IF THEY GET PAST THIS BUNCH.
THEY’LL MEET THOSE NEW YORK YANKEES,
AND BEAT THEM, THAT’S MY HUNCH.
