Boys Player of the Year
Taylor Brummitt, AnnapolisBrummitt was regarded as one of the most dangerous forwards in the metro area because of his finishing ability. A team captain, he scored 20 goals and had at least six assists during Annapolis' 11-game schedule. He led the county in scoring for the second consecutive year. The highlight of the season was a four-goal performance against Severna Park during the regular-season meeting. Several colleges are interested in Brummitt, but he has not made a decision.
Boys Coach of the Year
Roy Dunshee, Severna ParkDunshee took over one of the most successful programs in the state, and the Falcons did not miss a beat. They successfully defended their county championship with a hard-fought victory over Chesapeake. Severna Park finished the season 15-2, losing in the state semifinals to eventual champion Bowie, 1-0. The Falcons had one of the most balanced squads in the metro area, and Dunshee did a solid job using the team's strengths and work ethic to put away opponents.
