Angelos needs to admit his mistake and get over himself. Davey Johnson should pretty much name his demands and MacPhail better not think he knows better. Give Davey what he wants and the fans will buy tickets again giving you what you want (at heart).
This fine manager and better man no longer wants to manage.
Why have the Orioles ignored PAUL BLAIR for so long? Ask Jim Palmer if Mr Blair could do the job.

Davey Johnson would bring respectability back to the Orioles. Granted, he isn't a long term fix at 67 but for 2 to 3 years, he would be able to groom a younger manager wanna be on how to win the right way. Yes he likes to have veterans, what manager doesn't. We neded to stop having "YES men" who are afraid of losing their job if they make a suggestion on ball club issues. Trembley, Mazzilli, Perlozzo, and Miller were unable to get respect from upstairs and in the dugout and it showed.
