1983 World Series champion Orioles

The Royals and Mets won't resume play until Friday, but on Throwback Thursday we can fondly remember the 1983 World Series. The Orioles lost the opening game at Memorial Stadium, then ran off four straight victories over the Philadelphia Phillies to win their third championship. That was, of course, the Orioles' most recent title. But instead of harping on that, let's look back at some of the images from that '83 Fall Classic. It may feel like just yesterday for some of you die-hard fans, but Eddie Murray's mutton chops tell us otherwise.
