Palmeiro breaks in with the Cubs, 1988
After spending parts of the previous two seasons with the Chicago Cubs, Rafael Palmeiro spent his first full season in the big leagues in 1988, batting .307 for the Cubs. He joined the Texas Rangers the following season.
