It'll be hard to top last year (above), when the Orioles sent five players to the Midsummer Classic for the first time since 1997.
Davis, Jones, Machado, Tillman and shortstop J.J. Hardy all represented the AL in the Midsummer Classic at Citi Field in New York. Davis and Jones each had a hit, while Hardy knocked in Jones with an RBI groundout in the top of the fifth inning as the AL cruised to a 3-0 win.
While the Orioles might not have five players in the All-Star Game at Target Field in Minneapolis this year, it's likely that they'll have multiple representatives for the third straight season. That hasn't happened since they accomplished the feat in four straight years from 1996 to 1999.
