Md. casinos are pumping out billions for education. So why are there school budget deficits?

Tommy under the gun

Closer Tommy Hunter has converted six of seven save opportunities so far, which is certainly an adequate success rate for a guy who has never held down that role full-time, but the jury is still out on how dependable he can be in one-run situations. Despite his overpowering stuff, he has a knack for drama, which was very much on display Wednesday night when he loaded the bases with one out before getting a double-play ball to protect the Orioles' 10-8 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. He has recorded one save and one blown save in two one-run save situations and allowed a run in three of his four two-run save situations. It isn't often you see a guy that size who can walk a tightrope that well.
