• Nuggets // Forward Carmelo Anthony (Towson Catholic) is doubtful for tonight's game against Atlanta because of a sprained left ankle. Anthony was hurt Monday night after he came down on Kobe Bryant's right foot during the second quarter of the Nuggets' 116-99 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Nuggets said X-rays were negative.

• More Nuggets // The team said the testicular tumor removed from forward Nene on Jan. 14 was malignant. The tumor was discovered early, and tests showed the cancer was isolated.

• Heat // Center Shaquille O'Neal will miss at least the next two weeks because of recurring pain in his left hip and leg.

Knicks // Guard Stephon Marbury had surgery to remove bone spurs from his left ankle and is out indefinitely.
