Sonics prevail, 151-147, in 2 OTs

Kevin Durant scored 37 points and fellow rookie Jeff Green added 35 to lead the Seattle SuperSonics to a 151-147 double-overtime victory over visiting Denver last night, damaging the Nuggets' playoff hopes.

Carmelo Anthony (Towson Catholic) had 38 points to lead Denver, which stayed in a tie with the Golden State Warriors for eighth place in the Western Conference.

• Mavericks 105, Suns 98 // Dirk Nowitzki scored 32 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter, and visiting Dallas rallied from 13 down early in the fourth to stun Phoenix. The Suns would have clinched a playoff spot with a victory.

• Lakers 114, Kings 92 // Kobe Bryant scored 29 points, Vladimir Radmanovic added 21 and Los Angeles stayed on track for the Pacific Division title with a victory at Sacramento.

• Rockets 105, Clippers 79 // Rookie Aaron Brooks scored 18 points to help visiting Houston clinch a playoff berth.

• Hornets 108, Warriors 96 // Chris Paul had 16 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds, and host New Orleans tied a franchise record for single-season victories with 54.

• Pistons 91, Heat 75 // Rodney Stuckey scored 19 points and Detroit wrapped up the No. 2 seed for the Eastern Conference playoffs by winning at Miami.

• Spurs 72, Trail Blazers 65 // Tim Duncan had 27 points and 11 rebounds, and visiting San Antonio beat Portland for the 12th straight time.

• Grizzlies 113, Timberwolves 101 // Mike Miller scored 34 points and hit eight three-pointers to lead visiting Memphis. Rudy Gay (Archbishop Spalding) added 23 points.

Knicks 100, Magic 90 // Rookie Wilson Chandler scored a season-high 23 points and host New York ended a five-game losing streak.

• Pacers 105, Bucks 97 // Travis Diener scored 15 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter to lift host Indiana.
