USC coach: Blame me, not Mayo
Southern California men's coach Tim Floyd said he's to blame for a possible NCAA rules violation by freshman standout O.J. Mayo.
Mayo accepted free tickets to Monday night's game between Denver and the Los Angeles Lakers from Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony (Towson Catholic) and attended after getting permission from Floyd.
• North Carolina State // Men's coach Sidney Lowe broke an NCAA rule by discussing a prospect who has committed to play for the Wolfpack, associate athletic director Jon Fagg told The News & Observer of Raleigh.
