WASHINGTON — Glen Davis felt a game like this one would happen sooner or later following his return from a foot injury.
Davis went 1 for 8 and encountered foul trouble in the Orlando Magic's 98-80 loss to the Washington Wizards on Monday night. He had trouble getting shots off over Nenê, the Wizards' 6-foot-11 power forward.
"I knew I was going to have one of these types of games," Davis said. "I'm just trying to play through it. I had good shots. I've just got to keep playing and make sure that it doesn't have a snowball effect. I'm glad we have a game tomorrow."
