Dan Wheldon, the 2011 Indianapolis 500 winner, was fatally injured Oct. 16 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The 33-year-old driver got caught in a multi-car crash on Lap 13 of the IndyCar Series season finale and succumbed to his injuries after the collision. Two other IndyCar drivers involved in the 15-car wreck were treated for minor injuries.
