New coach, new identity, new offensive line, new expectations. Spirits are high again for the Bears this season, but are they realistic?
We turned to EA Sports' Madden 25 for Bears versus Bengals for an answer, controlling neither team.

- Bears may need quick passing game
On the game's second play, Andy Dalton hits A.J. Green for 15 yards on a slant. BenJarvus Green-Ellis and rookie Giovani Bernard take turns taking big chunks out of the Bears defense down the to 1-yard line. Bernard scoots up the middle, and that's that. Nine plays, 64 yards (40 rushing), 4 minutes, 16 seconds off the clock, zero third downs faced. Bengals 7-0.
Jay Cutler hits Earl Bennett down the left sideline for 6 yards, then Matt Forte on a screen for a first down. Forte loses 1 on a third-and-1 off the right tackle, and the Bears have to punt. Same as it ever was? Bengals ball at their 30 when we come back.
End of quarter: Bengals 7, Bears 0
Oh boy. On the first play, Dalton hits Mohamed Sanu on what could've been a 9-yard slant. Instead, Major Wright is torched and Sanu truck-sticks Anthony Walters and takes it to the house . Fifty-five yards after the catch there. Bengals 14-0.
Bengals start at their 43. Dalton to Green for 8, then Green-Ellis up the middle. First down. So easy. Green-Ellis up the middle, then Dalton to Jermaine Gresham for 11 yards to the Bears 31. Dalton to Marvin Jones for 15, then to Gresham for 2. Green-Ellis up the middle for 10. Two-minute warning. Dalton to Green for a 4-yard touchdown. The Bengals have yet to face a third down. Bengals 21-0.
Somewhere, Camden is crying. And Kristin wishes she had stayed with Talan. Bears go three-and-out again.
Bengals start at the 50. On the second play, Tim Jennings jumps an out route and gets a pick. Everything is coming up Trestman. Bears get it at the Bengals 48.
Cutler hits Forte for 9 and 5, then Michael Bush for 5. Cutler slings one to the back of the end zone to Brandon Marshall, whose first catch is a 30-yard touchdown (http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/169843471). Bengals 21-7, 49 seconds left.
Jennings grabs his second pick, then Cutler hits Jeffery with a 31-yard missile for a touchdown. Quite the turn of events. Bengals 21-14. Thirty seconds of nothing happens.
Halftime: Bengals 21, Bears 14
First-half stats: 212 total yards for the Bengals, 104 for the Bears. Cutler went 10-for-11 for 101 yards and 2 TDs.
Forte with two nice carries, then Cutler hits Jeffery for a first down to the Bengals 48. Five straight Forte runs for 23 yards leave the Bears with a fourth-and-inches. Trestman elects to kick, and Robbie Gould drills it from 41 yards. Bengals 21-17, 1:58 left in the quarter.
Bengals get the ball at their 27. A Lance Briggs sack, a Dalton incompletion and a Walters sack equal a quick three-and-out.
